Izlude
I read Riven which I liked alot and recently read the above from the Meduson book (awesome by the way). Was curious, what is the whole background behind them? I tried to do a background search to see what they are, is this some thing Ferrus developed or something more sinister? Overall great read. Sandlemad
There was a snippet in Massacre. There's a borderline transcription on the 40k wiki here. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328068-the-keys-of-hel/#findComment-4569524 Share on other sites
Iron Hands Fanatic
There's also a section in Retribution concerning the Loyalist attack on Xana which strongly implies the use of the Keys of Hell - as in, there are resurrected legionaries, warmachines and cybernetica Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328068-the-keys-of-hel/#findComment-4569535 Share on other sites
Jareddm
As an added bonus, check out the Sarcosan Wave Generator, a relic in Dark Heresy. It appears to operate on the basis of the Sarcosan Formulae, one of the technologies that was held in the vaults on Medusa. Mellow
Crazy that they think The Emperor is the greatest of all to use a Sarcosan Wave Generator. But hey, maybe there's one built into the Golden Throne that helps keep him around ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328068-the-keys-of-hel/#findComment-4569570 Share on other sites
HeritorA
Riven and The Keys of Hel are both amazing. That's energized tech from proto necromancers of Dark Age of Technology, left on Medusa. It has nothing to do with Ferrus or techpriests or Iron Fathers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328068-the-keys-of-hel/#findComment-4571519 Share on other sites

HeritorA
Thanks read those references...explains the creepiness "Only when by the power of our hate we have truly shed the prison of our own flesh, shall we be judged worthy to stand at the side of the returned Primarch. Every foe I slay, every stone I cast down, makes my hatred purer, and the day Ferrus Manus is restored to us a day closer."
