Jolemai
Certainly very clean and expertly done to the levels we usually expect from DoI, however, I do wonder if they are too light/bright?
Charlo
Really awesome work! ......But I can only see 3rd Edition Ultramarines :P
deathspectersgt7
Nice good to see some variation in color not same old Dark Blue .
Brother Heinrich
The paintjob is good, but I gotta agree on the similarities to the 3rd edition Ultramarines scheme: http://kofler.dot.at/40k/units/Ultramarine_Squad_10.gif

old git
No question re the quality and standard of the painting but echoing others - they look like Ultras with lightning bolts.
Dagoth Ur
I also immediately thought old-school Ultramarines :/ Maybe it's the light but are the regular space marines shaded? The blue looks a bit flat. Otherwise, very nicely painted. :)
TRIBUN
Bad smurfs ? ;) Surely nice work, but for me to clean and bright...
Ciler
The lighter blue isn't a problem for me, on the dread for instance there's no doubt on the legion of origin. Where it gets confusing is on the tactical squad where the combination of the blue colour/gold trim, sparse use of lightning and use of red bolters makes them look like "classic" ultramarines. Black bolters and a bit more lightning and it would be fine.
sockwithaticket
Nice good to see some variation in color not same old Dark Blue . To be fair, 'In midnight clad' does rather tie people to a dark blue and it's the official depiction. I'm going to have to echo others and say these remind me of Ultras. There'd be no problem with that tone as the brightest highlight, but the bulk of each model should be so much darker. It's also a very vibrant, clean scheme for a Legion/Warband that is persistently depicted as anything but. Ultimately, it doesn't matter what we think so long as the customer is happy.
