Mellow
Is this a new one or is it the combination of all of the smaller stories that were released recently? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328232-warzone-fenris/ Share on other sites
Kelborn
Do you mean Warzone Fenris: Legacy of Russ? Yep, it's a collection of the stories written by RobMac himself. DarkChaplain
War Zone Fenris is the umbrella for the whole event currently going on. It encompasses two Campaign Supplements, Curse of the Wulfen and Wrath of Magnus. Both books come with a wealth of fluff and scenarios, and progress the overall story of 999.M41, like the Kauyon & Mont'ka did for the Damocles region. Also under the umbrella falls Curse of the Wulfen by David Annandale and Legacy of Russ by Robbie MacNiven (which was serialised in 8 parts previously). Those are the only two novels out right now, and they "summarize" the events from the campaign books. They'll be sold in print together sometime next year, as "Legacy of the Wulfen". Robbie MacNiven also provided an audio drama set during the events, Vox Tenebris, which continues some plotlines from Deathwatch: Ignition. There's supposedly another novel coming, which Robbie was first supposed to write before moving to another project. It'll probably address the rest of Wrath of Magnus (since Legacy of Russ does lead into that) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328232-warzone-fenris/#findComment-4574663 Share on other sites
RobMac
DarkChaplain has it spot on, as usual. The "new" War Zone Fenris release is the combined Legacy of Russ short stories, which is now in physical novel format. I'm not actually sure if a Wrath of Magnus tie-in novel is being written. DarkChaplain
They'd better be having one! I hated that War Zone Damocles got such sporadic BL coverage, and was happy to see Fenris getting more direct tie-in novels. Don't screw this up, BL, you're finally having me excited again! RobMac
There was a lot of behind the scenes studio change during this period I'm afraid, so it was difficult giving it coverage while keeping on top of other projects. Excited with what? Horrible childish stuff written for kids? That's warcraft and not a W40K, lol. Legacy of Russ shorts were an abomination. It's really said that Robbie written 'that'. I better have 1 short of space sharks instead of 'Warzone Fenris' trash Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/328232-warzone-fenris/#findComment-4575502 Share on other sites
