Yes this is a double post from my You Know Your A Sisters Player When ... but really, this deserves front page news for us.

Oh man, oh man, oh man. That is beautiful, and... An indication of the new style of the sisters (they wouldn't release something way off from what the plastic sisters will look like). I think this is a sign they are not ruining the sister's ascetic.

Yeah, I think this is a good sign, and it's consistent with GW's recent practice of paying homage to the old aesthetic, while updating it slightly, and bringing back stuff from the good old days. I think this all bodes well for an eventual honest-to-goodness Sisters release that will be fantastic.

I'm not sure this model would be indicative of hypothetical new Sisters. It's based entirely on this picture (the cover of the 2E Sisters codex).

Not sure I'm digging the skull bra, maybe it won't look as tacky with a different paint job.

Great news about it being a little more available.

Still I'm going to sit at my computer and buy it right away... it is the only way to be sure.

I'm not a huge fan of the skull breastplate either, but i have often wished for this exact model, even though it is really quite fetishie (imo).

Anywho, I would buy a ball of plastic from GW if they satmped a fleur in it and put "Adepta Sororitas" in the name, so I'm quite pleased with this :P

I personally love the skull boobs. She screams "sci-fi" "Gothic" "Catholic". It's amazing.

Well, the ones on the model look way better than the ones on the codex cover, which look vaguely like large rodent skulls to me. The ones on the model are proper human skulls.

So, OK, they can stay as long as the Blood Angles get to keep their nipple plate tongue.png

Unless bringing her in to the line as well as returning the lost seraphim superior to us is actually in place of the supposed Plastic Sisters release.

I like the model a lot. Wish she would have been released a long time ago.

Doesn't escape me though that she takes the spot of the supposedly confirmed plastic Canoness release for Christmas. She is new, she isn't metal, and I love the sculpt. But she doesn't scream "plastic sisters in december, no january, no february" to me.

Aw well, i've already been to my LFGS and prepreordered two on the proviso that they can only preorder 5 of them themselves, so it they don't have  5 people wanting to preorder i'll take two. Figure that i'll use one to paint and play, the other will be getting kept for posterity.

Yes, I'll probably get two as well to try out classic paint and perhaps a more subdued boob-plate paint. I'm sure some special rules will follow too, they usually do.

And yes, I'll order one online just to be sure too. It's the only way. (then go get my second from LFG, gotta' support them!)

As for future Sisters, I agree with the above that they probably won't be early next year even, perhaps spring or summer. Either way, yeah, brb smoke break...

I've been stalking the rumors on new sisters of battle recently, after having read the first James Swallow book. They've always been a faction I've wanted to buy into but waiting for the right moment. Maybe this is it ..?

I'm glad they are starting to get some love and I do like this new cannoness model. I just get so daunted when I think about how I'll actually paint these models. So much detail and golds...I think one of my gripes with GW models is how intricate they are. I'll be painting this thing for weeks !

I may try a different scheme though... I suck at painting gold and black

I'll probably paint her in the Argent Shroud colors. Not sure what to do with my first metal Canoness though, she's in Ebon Chalice colors while none of my other sisters are. Wouldn't be too difficult to paint the blacks in silver instead, but then I already have two of the same model in AS colors :P

I've honestly never liked the Canoness that this is based off, the picture I mean. The high heels are a bit silly and the skull boobs are just too extreme for me. Considering this is one of the first real Adepta Sororitas picture done, I can accept that it's based off an older time period.

Onto the more relevant topic though, I am so glad they're starting the Sisters of Battle off with an iconic figure. It'll be good to see 'em back and hopefully in full plastic too.

Thank you Dante, maybe the skull bra isn't so bad.

At least they didn't make it nipple armor.

This way the line stays kid friendly.
