Iconic Canoness is coming this weekend.

As for those bothered by the "skull boobs", I suppose green stuff or other such product and a few tools could turn them into "regular boobs" easily enough. Personally I don't mind the skulls, even if they are a bit corny. As mentioned I'm more annoyed by the heels, and also as mentioned will try if I can bend the feet so that I can cut off the heels without making the pose look like total tiptoeing - although for the back leg I suppose could always sculpt a rock or something under the heel if all else fails.

So apparently the nipple armour is based off a real thing called a muscle curiass. And apparently they showed up in Greek, Rome and Japan. So I can accept it

And a skull bra still trumps nipple spikes like on Sister Sin's armour:

Speaking of Sister Sin, is it just me, or is she wearing the horned skull of a Mutant Witch Space Marine Librarian on her shoulder pad? Like on the plastic Librarian's shoulderpad:

She's not in a blisterpack but a proper box, which is already interesting in itself (also no sprue pictures, boo). No signs of those being new models behind her in that tabletop shot. They look like the usual models based on the details I can see so no hints there.

Also on the NZ GW page are Sisters available on pre-order:

Seraphim Squad (contains: "...a Seraphim Sister Superior, 7 Seraphim and 2 Seraphim with Hand Flamers, supplied with 10 Citadel 25mm Round bases.")

Retributor Squad (contains: "...1 Sisters of Battle Superior with Power Sword and Bolter, 4 Battle Sisters with Multi-Melta and 1 Battle Sister Squad Upgrade.")

Battle Sister Squad (contains: "...one Sister Superior with Power Sword and Bolter; one Battle Sister with Simulacrum Imperialis; 6 Battle Sisters with Bolters one Battle Sister with Storm Bolter; and one Battle Sister with Meltagun")

Repentia Squad (contains: "...1 Mistress of Repentance and 9 Sisters Repentia, supplied with 10 Citadel 25mm Round bases."

Sororitas Command Squad (contains: "...a Sisters of Battle Dialogus, a Sisters of Battle Hospitaller, a Battle Sister with Heavy Flamer, a Battle Sister with Simulacrum Imperialis and a Battle Sister with Bolt Gun, supplied with 5 Citadel 25mm Round bases.")

Dominon Squad (contains: "...a Sisters of Battle Canoness*, 2 Battle Sisters with Flamer, a Battle Sister with Storm Bolter and a Battle Sister with Meltagun, supplied with 5 Citadel 25mm Round bases.")

Immolator

Battle Sisters Squad Upgrade (contains: "...5 Battle Sisters - finely detailed metal miniatures that are supplied with 5 25mm round bases.")

*The Dominion Canoness pictured is the one with the Icon.

So yeah, looks like the old unit boxes are coming back.

So . . . for melta dominions I would have to buy 4 "Dominion Squad" boxes? That's beyond silly.

But I do want that Canoness model that comes with the Dominions.

Edit: I suppose the individual models might stick around, which would be good.

There's no reason to buy the squad.  There are no savings.  Could just buy each model individually, i.e. four melta girls and the superior, and it would be the same price.

Curious to see how the pricing will be on the Canadian store.  If NZ is anything to go buy then we're looking at a $/point... Guess Immo's will be going up to 80 points in the Imp Agents book!

Dollar a point is about normal for Sisters on average.

It is the price we pay (literally) to play the best faction in 40k :P
Of course we're the best! How many other armies can claim the ability to beat a heretic to death with their collection and still put it on the table with out any harm?

"Temporarily out of stock" on the UK site.

I have set a stock alert but blimey that was quick.

I understand that it will be available...when it is....er...in fact available..for um some time.

Low stock to judge demand? Something else?

Hmm... I wonder how hard it'd be to decapitate those Inquisitors. They really need better heads than those hideous monstrosities, otherwise the models are very nice and I'd like to have them both. They could even be used as Sisters, they look the part well enough with their power armor and all. Something like a melee command squad. I just hope we actually get a reasonably priced melee squad option at some point :P

I hope she has unique rules. I don't want b our only unique character to be Javobus. It's a slap in the face. He's not even a sister.

Isn't playing Sisters just one big slap in the face from GW?

But it's worth it :P

Basically. Hey. Let's release an old Dex three or four times so these guys keep buying it! It's free money!

I mean, I am going to keep buying it tongue.png

Sounds like we're getting our first formation, so there's that.

Edit: Gurrr. The release still hasn't happened on the US webstore!

Most Holy Emperor, why are you punishing me?

It is not our place to question the Emperor. He will give when He sees fit. tongue.png

but yeah, I get to sit here wasting my day so I can have a chance at that new Canoness model.

*refershes GW homepage for the 100th time*
