Interchangeability of Leman Russ turrets

Modeling-wise, will the punisher/demolisher/executioner bits work with a regular turret and vice versa?

 

Bits on gw.com are hard to tell.

The turret gun mount is different on the two Russ kits, so you can very easily magnetise/swap the Demolisher variant weapons but they won't port to a Battle Tank turret. The Battle Tank kit doesn't lend itself to such easy conversion unfortunately but it is possible. Check out our magnetisation tutorials for more detail :tu:

Do the little tabs on the bottom of the turret ring match up?

They do yes, the only difference between the two kit hulls is the detail on the back hatch :)

I magnetized at the swivel point/tabs in the regular Russ. It kinda looks like the Punisher kit has a swivel part similar to the Chimera's weapon mount. If that's the case, I can slice if the tabs on the weapon mount and add magnets there.

The Demolisher kit is so easy to magnetise, here is mine from ETL IV:

As you can see you don't even need to share any bits, it's plug and play :D
