Ariman - A Story of Redemption

You know, my Box of "Burning of Prospero" came with this guy I didn't want? Yea, beheaded him, like any other traitor...
...but there was this other guy, a faithful Son of Russ. Great Guy.
Among the Rout he is called "Axehead" Ariman - his nickname is a pun on how he loves Hammers and other heavy tools.
No one really knows which path he took for his career as Priest - Technomancy as a side subject or full on study of the Omnissiah's blessings.

(what did you guys do with YOUR Ahriman? Burn him as a Sanguinila Candle? Base material for Geigor? Or something else entirely.)

I based my Ahriman with melted space wolf limbs (used a lighter), and crushed space wolf helmets. Ahriman is still alive and murdering all over the Fenris system, and is fond of Telekinesis and Pyromancy.

Oh look! A troll...

Nicely done RikuEru!

Probably stupid question - you have assembled your Ahriman as a SW priest?

Yes.

Carved away all TS symbols (Chest, Shoulders, "scarf") or filled the "runes" with liquid green stuff (tabard, shins, cloak). I stippled some liquid green stuff on the whole cloak aswell, as a means to give it a bit more texture (guide for that by Tabletop Minions can be found HERE)

Then I glued a bit of clockwork pieces on his left shoulder and his scarf and a seal on the other side of the scarf and his backpack.

Head is the SW head from the Deathwatch Kill-Team sprue, so a bit "unique" in my army for now.

Hammerhead is from the Stormcast Eternal Liberators Sprue.

...and I painted the dead Space Wolf under his foot as a Thousand Son, obviously.

Thanks. I am really stupid. I forgot that I have liquid green stuff... jesus... very good rune priest.

I have to admit my heart actually sunk a bit when I saw beautiful Ahriman turned into a loyalist lapdog. I guess now I know how that DA player felt when he was upset that I painted DV Balthazar up as a one of the fallen. A traitorous Chaos Lord of Tzeentch.
