Ironwithout
For the purposes of the restrictions do transports count as a separate unit? For example a rhino bought with a vet squad I have always counted as a single unit. So that counts as a single unit with legions astartas rule. Is this correct or would it count as 1 with the rule and 1 without? Very possible my current imperial fists are very illegal Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/329142-pride-of-the-legion-transports/ Share on other sites
Quixus
How a unit is purchased does not matter. A Rhino is as much a separate unit as a Fellblade. The only difference is the Rhino does not occupy a separate FOC slot. Caillum
Yep, as Quixus says. The Blood Angels rule "Host of Angels" is a good piece of supporting evidence, as it specifically says Dedicated Transports DON'T count as non-Legiones Astartes units; "Pride of the Legion" doesn't say this. Note that in-game, both a unit AND their Dedicated Transport still count as separate units for kill points.
