Maulerfiend Conversions

Recommended Posts

My converting skills are pretty basic, but I've positioned my Maulerfiend so that she's climbing over a wall.  Here are some WIP and completed shots

I have found the fiends to be one of the tougher kits to re-pose. With the legs and arms that only fit in their intended position and the curved neck it doesn't allow for much altering, unless you're wiling to pull out your hobby knife and some green stuff - at least that's how I see it, maybe other hobbyists had more success rearranging it. For my second maulerfiend I wanted an upright, kinda threatening posture, so I cut up one leg and one arm and straightened them a bit. I had to cut off its fingers to match them to the new pose and then remodeled all the knuckles. Right now I have only one WIP pic, as I'm in the middle of painting it, but as soon as I'm done I'll post a few more pics in my log.
