Expo AB602 airbrush kit?

Has anyone got any experience of this kit?

I have never used an air brush before and it has been recommended to me as a good starter set, which I can upgrade the gun later on if I want. As it £100 starting cost it seems good valve.

 

I am looking for a airbrush to paint camo onto tanks and speed up the base coating of daemons mostly. Hand brushing bulk colours is getting me down when time is limited.

No real experience with the kit, but here's a review by someone else at least. Looks like you get what you pay for basically.

 

I have used a very similiar looking cheap airbrush as my first (no idea if it's exactly the same though), and at least that one performed OK. It worked well for uniform basecoats (no clogging etc shooting properly diluted paint), but for gradients I felt i left a bit of a grainy appearance.

I have the model up from that, the Expo AB603. The compressor is great, no complaints there. The airbrush was a crappy little jar-feed thing good for basecoats and nothing else.

I have taken the plunge on the kit to have a play with. My idea was that I could always upgrade the brush at a later date.

 

Hoping to have a play with it at the weekend. 

 

I'm not looking to do mega fine detail things with it but hopefully it will speed up some painting of larger models I will do a little review once I have got set up.
