If anything you come across as the troll, there's just no need! As others have said - this is an international forum with people posting from different time zones and with different levels of commitments - we can't all devote the time you seem to demand. And don't be so hasty about dismissing the reserve role - it doesn't mean they were retired to sit in their ships doing nothing, they would have been kept back until a particularly brutal campaign needed their assistance. I'm not saying this is the sole reason the IF didn't get above 100 000, just a contributing factor. I'd imagine the selection/ training/ transformation process had the greatest limitation on IF growth.
