Kataphrons using Ogres?

I'm just getting back into the hobby and am not a great modeler, but just assembled my first Kataphron Breacher unit. Now I have all these extra Destroyer bits, and got some crazy ideas. My AdMech army is led by Genetors in my fluff, and I read about a Dark Eldar army using Ogres (Ogors? I missed the whole Age of Sigmar launch) as the basis for Grotesques. So I thought maybe I could do the same to represent some roided out Frankenstein abominations of genetic engineering. I've never seen one in person, but looking at the sprues online for Ogor Gutbusters, they seem like they might actually work. The torsos seem mostly one piece with sockets for arms, gut plate, and head. These seem like perfect spots to mount the leftover weapons, or maybe install some magnets to swap out arms. Maybe even use the torso hole to mount a gut-cannon.

Anyway, I'm a total neophyte when it comes to conversions. I'm fishing for opinions, do you think this could work? Are Ogors roughly equivalent in model size to Kataphrons? Would you find these acceptable to play against in a tournament if I pointed them out and said 'these are Kataphrons'?
