Withershadow
I am not derailing the thread, please don't get your feelings hurt. I am making the point that Lucius is not the only example, the entire creed of the Emperor's Children would have them pursuing the highest reaches of whatever discipline they chose to apply themselves to, so they are definitely in the running for producing some excellent swordsmen. The fact that swords are a "refined and graceful and gentlemanly weapon" (ok, there are brutal swords, but we're talking compared to axes and maces and fists) only further lends them to this weapon. Another example of a sublime swordsman is the Emperor's Children Captain in the Talon of Horus book. The narrator says he has never seen a more "perfect" warrior, and he hangs out around daemonically-possed Justaerin and Khorne Bersekers. But otherwise, if all you want are specific dudes, almost every Legion can put someone up there. Even those nerds the Thousand Sons had that one guy who was basically Drizzt D'urden until Lucius killed him too. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/329301-best-swordsmen-legion/page/4/#findComment-4610107 Share on other sites
