Can the Vultarax Stratos-Automata take Paragon of Metal?

Can the Vultarax Stratos-Automata take the Paragon of Metal special rule pls?

The experimental rules ( https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/resources/PDF/fw_warscrolls/HH_Vultarax.pdf ) doesn't mention the Paragon of Metal special rule, and the wording of the Paragon of Metal refers to a single Maniple of a single BATTLE-automata, as opposed to the Vultarax which is listed as a STRATOS-Automata.  Is that specific terminology meant to exclude the Vultarax, or is that just fluff-based techno-babble?  Thx in advance.

This thread made me sad. I've been building Billy badass Vultarax to accompany my Reductor as sole automata. Very sad.

That said I would not put much stock in the "stratos-automata" part because a Thanatar is a "siege-automata". So that's fluff-bases technobabble, as you put it, but the lack of paragon under options should still preclude you from buying this upgrade.

Hopefully the option will be added come printed rules.

Not in the entry, not available. Clearly, this broken FMC needs more buffs.

It's got a flareshield and targeting array. That means most legion flyers cant kill it in one round, and it can finish off most legion flyers in one go with 3 haywire hits...

After than, your spartan is finished in 2 turns

I'm already harvesting SA and Legion tears with my two angry bees. Killing Malcadors/Dracosans and Spartans Turn 1 is hilarious. To be fair though, lascannon Dorito Dreads and enemy planes do scare bees, because they only have 3+ armour. Grounding is a real pain for them, a Lightning or Thunderbolt can probably kill a bee the turn it comes on with good rolls.

No it can't get Paragon, but Paragon is a bad upgrade anyway, so who cares? Stock standard, Vultarax are amazing. You don't need power blades, and currently Blessed Autosimulcra does nothing because it has wounds not Hull Points.

On that note, I just wanted it to be free from its Programmed Behaviour limitations, so that I can plug & play it into my Ordo Reductor army without having to hire a Magos Dominus or a Techpriest Auxilia with a Cortex Controller to remote control it.

The other bonuses (IWND, Rampage, etc.) are totally incidental to me, so if there is a.) a better solution or b.) the bee doesn't even care about Programmed Behaviour in practice, because a Flying Monstrous Creature can move so fast and so far it actually never comes up, I'd be totally cool with that.

TL;DR - want killer kite, but do not want Charlie Brown to go with it, what do?

Play Legio Cybernetica. 24" cortex range means your angry bees stay smart at longer range, and can be given Rite of Tear Harvesting at 24" as well.

Reductor I'd take planes or another Siege Battery (you get four Heavy slots so go nuts).
