sanityimpaired
Because I've bought almost everything used, I have a lot of hobby stuff. In particular, I have a lot of old paints which I have had to bring back to life by a lot of effort adding water and stirring them. Some paints recovered entirely, some were unsalvageable, and some were between the two. I have a small bottle of Chainmail that has tiny chunks in it. It's still usable, but gives a very rough, beat up texture.Which is not a bad thing. One of the downsides to use models is that they can be beat up to begin with, which works just fine when dealing with chaos vehicles that haven't been especially well maintained and repaired. It's also fantastic for anything Orkish. Adding to that with a rough textured paint fits the overall aesthetic perfectly.
