Some really nice Truescales in here; and seconded about the use of the Iron Warriors helm for your lascannon operator.

Also interesting to see the real mishmash of styles and personal affectations running from reasonably straight-forward (but gorgeously detailed) Mk.III through to your chap in Mk.V who looks very much like a proto-40k marine thanks to his beliefs and accessorizing

Clad in a heavily reinforced suit of Mark III plate, Brother Dyonysius is seen here carrying his squad's heavy weapon, a shoulder-mounted lascannon. A keen marksman, it would have been Dyonysius's duty to target enemy vehicles and other high value targets among the Word Bearers and eliminate them.

Dyonysius carries his standard bolt pistol sidearm in a holster at his hip. The street-to-street fighting in the ruins of Thedos forced the Ultramarines into a combat range that was the definition of close. Heavy weapons troopers like Dyonysius would have been expected to take part alongside their brothers despite their specialist weaponry.

Note the marking on Dyonysius's shoulderplate. While the symbol itself designates him as a member of a Tactical Squad, it was not uncommon for the XIII to rotate warriors into different squads based on their aptitudes. In a situation where massed long ranged support was necessary, Dyonysius would have been slotted into a heavy weapons squad, the precursor to the Codex Astartes' own Devastator Squads.

Note the custom modified helm. Special auspexes and sensory nodes would have been prevalent throughout headgear used by specialists in any Astartes force and Dyonysius is no exception. Targeting relays mounted in his helm would have fed information directly into his brain via neural links connected with his black carapace.

VERY Cool project, and cool WIP terminator. He's a quite delicate, slim-hipped wisp of a genetically-modified transhuman killer, however; will you be broadening his hips?

Some guy has made true-scale Blood Ravens terminators in the same way. Can't google them from here, but if you find them, perhaps they may serve as further inspiration.

By dint of their primacy, and the fact that their primarch was Warmaster, the Luna Wolves had been amongst the first Legions to benefit from the issue of Terminator plate. Some entire Legions still lacked it. The armour was designed for heavy assault. Thickly plated and consequently exaggerated in its dimensions, a Terminator suit turned an Astartes warrior into a slow, cumbersome, but entirely unstoppable humanoid tank. An Astartes clad in Terminator plate gave up all his speed, dexterity, agility and range of movement. What he got in return was the ability to shrug off almost any ballistic attack.

Rassek towered over them in his amour, dwarfing them as a primarch dwarfs Astartes, or an Astartes dwarfs mortal men. Massive weapons systems were built into his shoulders, arms, and gauntlets.
