IronFistAlphaRaven
So I am thinking about getting my first superheavy. First of all: I play a Siege themed imperial fist list and i mostly play 40k with legion rules, vehicles etc. against 2000 points, almost always a titan included (knight, baneblade variants...). My question here is: A tank hunter like the Falchion or glaive OR a warhound or a questoris knight? Lord Blackwood
I am not sure I understand Are you playing a 30k list or a 40k list and just taking things you shouldn't be able to? Gorgoff
Since you can only play a LOW which cost 500 max at 2000 points the answer is right there. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/329470-superheavy-vehicles/#findComment-4611307 Share on other sites
Ishagu
If you're playing a Legion List, get yourself a Stormsword. It's a cheap, plastic kit to buy, comparatively. Imo it's a better Typhon though it requires some care to use. Nusquam
If you want a Titan killer get a Shadowsword or Fellblade. Shadowsword is the best source of one shot D, the Falchion is the prettiest but terrible. The Fellblade has plenty of shots from all its weapons to put shave off HPs on it's own. The Glaive can do it too, and it counts as multiple hits, rather than one hit that generates X. That way you can't get one save to block it all. Slips
Does the Shadowsword have the Neutron Wave Capacitor? Because if it doesn't then it gives the Fellblade Falchion the niche of being a D Weapon that can stunlock other Super-Heavies. Lord Blackwood
I think only the Falchion gets that , as far as I understand. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/329470-superheavy-vehicles/#findComment-4612403 Share on other sites
