Were 40k landspeeders used in the great crusade?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

was wondering were the 40k land speeders that GW sell used in the great crusade? I know forgeworld have the javelin landspeeders but were the 40k ones used? I see people with them but is it official? I like to be pro fluff in my army and would be cheaper to use them smile.png

Thanks!

these ones in question !

Very few things have been "invented" between 30k and 40k. Even the 40k pattern of rhinos were in use in the heresy.

This. Pretty much every pattern of plastic vehicle in 40k existed in 30k.

If the 40k model has rules in 30k, you can use it.

Nice! even this one? like the main one? smile.png

Yup. That blocky look it has? Say it's "Mars-pattern" or something similar. That's what FW has done with Rhinos and I think a few other similar vehicles.

Just a shame the Land Speeder Storm was a post heresy invention

Do we have a "When" on the Storms? If it was shortly after the heresy could wave it off as "Prototypes pushed into service during the Heresy then was officially introduced afterwards"
