Orwell84
... sounds like the Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars? It came to me the other day while listening to Garro: Oath of Moment, and I felt a great disturbance in the warp, with an image of Malcador crowing to Garro: “It was I who gave Alpharius the location of the Vengeful Spirit’s shield generators. We are quite safe from Horus’ pitiful little band. Three entire legions of my best troops await them.” “Oh, I’m afraid the defences of the Imperial Palace will be quite operational when Horus arrives.” Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/329619-garro-audiobooks-does-anyone-else-think-that-malcador/ Share on other sites
Roomsky
`Tis the exact vibe I got from it, which is about the last voice I would expect to come out of Malcador's mouth. Orwell84
`Tis the exact vibe I got from it, which is about the last voice I would expect to come out of Malcador's mouth. Well, they both resemble shriveled old men in bathrobes and wield immense sorcerous power, and give orders to a bald guy in powered armour who betrayed his sworn brethren. Wonder if the voice actor deliberately modeled Malcador's voice after Palpatine's. Know no Fear was released a long time ago - but Rubio is fighting for 5 days over the Numinus palace barricades with the 'slaughtered' 21 chapter, argggg ..... bluntblade
I always imagine his voice to be John Hurt's. Especially old John Hurt, as the Heresy grinds him down Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/329619-garro-audiobooks-does-anyone-else-think-that-malcador/#findComment-4617763 Share on other sites
Mellow
Malcador looks too much like a Genestealer Magus for my liking. It's a conspiracy. Also he seemed to have the ability to see the future much like the Emperor could. Mad skills.
