@ Xanthier: Congratulations man! fantastic work all around - and you are correct: all the titles you mentioned are yours! The relevant badges will be released at the end ofd the event and you can choose to either carry them all or use the one you like the most. Just be mindful of B&C signature size rules... msn-wink.gif

Thanks! If you could add Forgelord to the second post that would be fantastic, since I've done 15 hull points across the pledged units. I have at least 1 more tank coming in hopefully within the week, so when it arrives I'll formally pledge that too.

It's tempting, I do own one. On it's own though it's not a valid unit from what I can tell, I'd have to add another character and I'd rather not simply tack it on to a finished pledge unit. We'll see what's around, I may have another ForgeLord / Techmarine somewhere...

Also great work on the Ursarax @ Idomeneus, those claws don't look friendly.

I thought their unit size was 1 to 6, or 4 plus if taken as a command squad replacement for Perturabo. 

 

From memory they are just a unit unlike Battle-Automata brought by a Peruvian. I remember when they first came out and I really wanted to add one to my Taghmata army but discovered they were for Iron Warrior only.  Might still get one just for the look after the current project/when I actually assemble all my Mecanicum stuff.  

 

Programmed Behaviour might be a problem, but as long as you keep some Cortoex Controllers nearby that should not be a problem. Doesn’t Perturabo have one? If he doesn’t then he should have considering he built them.

Huh, didn't realize they were their own unit as well, could have sworn they were basically a bodyguard deal. I guess I'll pledge that when the next tank arrives then, cheers.

Just a quick progress shot. Both Tactical Squads are currently up to this point and the Terminators are near enough, but unfortunately there isn't a whole lot more I can do at this point until I get a few more paints and my Sector Imperialis bases in. Pretty happy with how things are coming along.

Not a huge update, but I finished the black and the steel as well, so it's coming closer to the end in some respect. Just hasn't been much time to paint :(

 

Oh well.. hopefully I'll have this sucker done soon and then move on to the next part of my vow.

Once again, I'm really pleased to be able to pledge towards Loyalty and Treachery: the last event in this series really helped me to get some of the core aspects of my Death Guard force together, many of which are staples in every game (Mortarion, etc.). This year, it'll be a slightly different focus, as I've been investing in the new endeavour that is the Mechanicum! I like the thought of them being usable alongside my Death Guard - and so the Ryza-esque scheme echoes some of the colours I use for my Death Guard, and I've since been building up a good sized, competitive force. If I were to include these additions to my potential 3000pts list that I've been working towards, we would be looking at about 4000pts worth - which gives me a range of options and puts me in a good place for future games.

 

I've outlined below what I currently have done, and what I'll be adding in Loyalty and Treachery:

Scoria (using Draykavac model) - Painted 

Magos Prime (using 40k Archmagos) - Painted

Two Castellax with Dark Fire Cannons and Flamers - Painted

I do also have four fully painted Kastelans that I would use in the interim for Mauler Bolt Cannon armed Castellax if needed. In time, I would probably want to bolster both of the Tech Thrall squads to their full complement (for purposes of scoring and tying up things) - as well as look at things like Myrmidon Destructors (although I'm currently well-stocked on the Heavy Support front!). I'd probably also want to add another Magos, which perhaps Cawl can represent in time.
 
For Loyalty and Treachery, I'll vow the following for the Traitor cause:
 
1. 10 Tech Thralls with Las Locks
2. 10 Tech Thralls with Las Locks
3. Vulturax
4. Vulturax
5. Krios Venator
6. Krios Venator

Halandaar, looking good. Quick question if I may, the green flames have a metallic sheen to them, how did you do that?

Mid-weekly update, while trying to figure out what I want to do with my Praetor I started playing with Kurtha Sedd. End result I swapped his plasma pistol for a bolt pistol, but I am torn between two options for the other arm replacement. I have a Halberd and I have a Staff, both from the GK kit.

He is not part of my original pledge, and I am little hesitant to pledge him as I know how slow I am with painting. But here are pictures below with each option.

What do you all think, which one looks better? Apologies for the poor picture quality.

undercoated my thallax yesterday, and tonight i hope to start green stuffing the predator and dreadnoughts.

 

Captain Semper: i guess i'll declare for the imperials. i had hoped to wait until something like the last week of the event to declare, since i would like to assist the underdogs at that time, but if/when i get my hands on a copy of Burning of Prospero i'd like contribute some sisters and custodes.

Finally the big part of my pledge is ready and here they are!

I've been waiting for my order for about 3 weeks, waiting for the spartan parts. But now they are all here and I've started with the veichles, then later the 5 terminators will join the party.

Just wanted to share these. I have set a deadline (15th) for myself when I must have everything build.

Couple of orders coming on friday or early next week. Replacement parts to my airbrush and all the paints and magnets I need to finish my pledge. Oh and of course transfers from FW :)

Nice progress everyone!

 

@ Captain Semper I pledge an additional Rhino for the Iron Warriors' traitorous cause.

 

I finally received a salvage project, an old three-primed Rhino from eBay. Poor guy's been primed white, red then black. Been working on cleaning most of the offending paint off, mainly got the panels and one side left. With some brass etch and a few updated details he should nicely look the part.

 

WIP shot - it was entirely black with red recesses when it turned up.
