TheBlindPrimarch
Ok, so i have a lore question and I thought to myself, what better place to ask then a community based around the game that the lore belongs to...simple, I know. So here's the question: By what method was the worship of the Emperor as a god during the Horus Heresy spread, and what was it called? I feel like I remember it being spread via little leaflets or something like that, I know it was secretive because of the imperial truth, and i know it spread primarily through the ranks of the mortal soldiery, anything more than that and I'll have to dig through my collection of black library books and that could take forever. And I will send you a cookie!(if your right) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330175-a-cookie-to-whoever-has-the-answer/ Share on other sites
Servant of Dante
The pamphlets and secret congregations were definately a thing in the HH novels. Sounds like it was mostly word of mouth to me. I don't think that's anything you don't already know though :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330175-a-cookie-to-whoever-has-the-answer/#findComment-4631594 Share on other sites
Soldier of Dorn
The Lectitio Divinatus was the specific book/pamphlet written by Lorgar expressing the divinity of the Emperor that was spread through the Expeditionary Fleets. ;) There's your answer. No need to send the cookie, bad for the teeth in any event. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330175-a-cookie-to-whoever-has-the-answer/#findComment-4631595 Share on other sites
