VulkansDynasty Posted January 29, 2017 Share Posted January 29, 2017 Good day/night/morning Brothers, sisters, mutants, heretics, or whatever you identify as or get called in school! In an effort to actually get the HUGE mess of models I own painted and converted and nice looking rather than just gathering dust or being confused as to why they're on a shelf half built, I have decided to try very hard in keeping this WIP log. So far the events on the forum that I've participated in since returning and actually becoming a participating member of the forums (only took me something like 8 years of lurking) has helped me tremendously. So, this will be all over the place, and sadly since the rules of the forums will preclude me from sharing some of what I paint (go look at my Instagram I guess), I will be trying my hardest to upload pics of...well everything. Starting with this Warhound. I've had this model since 2011, I got It from a friend who bought it when they first came out from Forgeworld, so it's not the best fit, but I've made some progress on figuring out how to use lots of pinning, green stuff, and superglue to make it look like a Titan. Here's my WIP pics so far: I'm going for a titan that will fit in with my Thousand Sons army, that I will eventually get painted as well C&C always welcome. Other projects that I'm looking at doing soon-ish: Imperial Warhound rescue project. The model is a Lucius pattern that was already built and is a mess. It's going to take some work to get the beast rebuilt and I'll have to scratch build the top cover since it was lost before I saved this guy from a box in an old gamestore. Salamander's First Company Army. I have lots of terminators and Veteran models, so lets build a First Company! (including Tartaros pattern termies, and Firedrakes!) I am contemplating turning the rest of my non-elite space marines into Minotaurs Chapter guys, so we may play with that idea. Thousand Sons/Tzeentch stuff and lastly, I may paint up the Forgeworld Deathguard army I have, if I don't sell it sometime soon. If any of this excites you then stay tuned, just don't expect FAST updates, I take ages to paint things sometimes. Especially this titan, it's big! As such I was lucky enough to get the last Lord of change on the shelf. I was also so excited to start painting it that I forgot to take any pictures until I was already going. I like how it's turning out, but I may limit the flames on the other guys, and throw in some salamander symbols here and there on the armor. As you can see in the latest pic it's no longer an issue. You're about the 4th person to say it looks like a butt, I didn't make the model that way....blame GW?
