After an 11 year hiatus I finally played a full game of WH40K last night. My SoB lost to Eldar but it really helped me get my head wrapped around 7th Edition. The last time I played was in the Gathrog Campaign in 2006 (I still have the stickers inside my old rulebook).

But now I'm not only back in, I'm all in. The players in my local meta are really good folks and a joy to game with, and I've bought the Triumverate of the Imperium, Codex: Imperial Agents and The Fall of Cadia. This Saturday Celestine will be leading my Sisters in a 2,000 to 3,000 point-per-player mass showdown at my FLGS. I'm diving in the deep end and I love it. :)

The Preceptory of Saint Barbara, of the Order of the Sacred Rose, is back. I will do my best to honor their nickname Sororitas Fulmiata (Thunderstrike Sisters!)

And thank you to all here in the B&S community who answered the silly questions from this re-born rookie.

Awesome! Eldar were . . . not an easy choice for a first opponent :P I love that we have this community of Sisters players here on the B&C. How else would I have anyone to talk to about Sisters who would have the foggiest what I'm saying?

. . . in other news, I have the autocorrect on my phone trained to automatically capitalize Sisters :D

Forgeworld put out an FAQ that Repressors are still a go with Sisters, even with the 'new' 'dex.. biggrin.png

Makes me happy, I've got eight of the damned things. (And you should hear what my opponents call them.msn-wink.gif)

I thought they simply changed "Codex: Battle Sisters" to "Codex: Adepta Sororitas". Codex: Imperial Agents wouldn't be included in that.

I've been wanting to add some repressors to my list. Does anyone know where I can find models/the most recent rules?

The model was discontinued a while ago. It's really just an ebay only kinda thing now and it's rather costly. As far as I know the rules are still available from Imperial Armor Vol.2 2nd Edition.

ebay for the models, unless your good at scratchbuilding, until FW redo the moulds - guys, it's a box with two flat detail bits, a round bit, a dozer blade & a parts bin raid added on to a standard rhino, how hard can it be? - and the rules for it are apparently in https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-AU/Imperial-Armour-Volume-Two-War-Machines-of-the-Adeptus-Astartes-Second-Edition which I keep on forgetting to order.

Welcome back to the sisters! I'm not exactly a fan of Imperial Agents as a codex myself, but if your flgs wants you to have the real codex then meh. I like the old one because it allows Repressors..and repressors are ridiculous with sisters ;P

I believe this falls under the "common sense required" sections of the newest FAQ's.

Good to have you return to the hobby! I'm a recent return as well :)

Repressors are/where a beautiful model! I'm currently tinkering with a design to scratch build the top myself but I think that dozer blade (IMO, the best looking part) is going to be a pain....

I may have to pick your brain first a few dimensions since you have 8 of them....

Also, I would love to see an army shot of your sisters! -hint hint-

Feel free to ask any other questions you might have though. We're typically super helpful. But if you have 2-3k points of sisters already then you'll probably be set for units and such.

Also I now get sighs when I drop "Lady Freyja" (New Celestine) and her gal pals  on the table, ha! I've had a lot of luck with bringing her in a swarm of Seraphim and weaving her in and out of the group so she can take on large threats and still leave them to obliterate other things close by. Everyone instantly goes after the seraphim once they split to try and eliminate her bubble wrap...then they realize those girls just don't go down without a torrent of bullets.

Thanks all for the warm re-welcome ;)

I m planning to use the Geminae (provided I finish painting them today) with my old Celestine in the game tomorrow. I am holding fast to NOT rushing the new Celestine-- I wnt to do the best I can for her, so I will take my time (I may even take a day off work. My supervisor told me I MUST use a minimum of 103 hours of Leave this year lol)
