Thunder_god
Hi all. What colors do you think the studio used to paint the blue on Guilliman's armor? https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/02/03/gathering-storm-iii-rise-of-the-primarch-first-look/ That's looks like a brighter blue than the current Ultramsrines color scheme & I really like it. Thanks for the in put. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/330614-how-to-replicate-the-blue-on-guillimans-armor/ Share on other sites
Tyberos the Red Wake
The GW official photos always have different colors due to the intense lighting and digital post editing they do. The actual model is a darker blue than what you see in the white background photos. Brother-Chaplain Kage
I have no doubt that there will be a painting guide in a White Dwarf before too long detailing exactly how to do it. Or a video with that twitchy Duncan fellow. DistroyA
I reckon they'll have used the original Ultramarines scheme (macragge blue, drakenhof, etherium, altdorf, Calgar, Guilliman), albeit in a more complex method than on the original leaflet. If I'm wrong, I'll still be using this scheme (or a very close rendition of it).
