Expanded Allies Matrix

They wouldn't be very big changes.

Knights Errant are agents of the emperor.  As such they are battle brothers to all loyalists forces.

Black Shields are distrusted allies to all Legions.  They can be fellow warriors to Imperial Army and AM if I remember correctly,

If I remember correctly, Shattered legions are battle brothers (internal) for as long as the HQ surivives and becomes distrusted allies after that.  Otherwise I they are either distrusted allies or fellow warriors to other legions.  Note: I am doing this from memory.

I believe blackoption is correct.  The main takeaway here though is no, there is no update to the basic allies matrix found in any of the black books.  Each of the forces you mention has a special description of how they function included with their rules instead.  Everything you need to know is included with their details in book six.  And if you don't have those, how would you play them anyway?  Or so I imagine the logic went.

Although honestly Shattered Legions are complicated enough without adding allies to the mix.

Yeah I had just scanned that stuff and thought maybe I was missing something less convoluted. Then I went back and re read it and .... apparently not. :P

I have a very specific army in mind and I Was thinking I'd have to do it with Shattered Legions or Blackshields, but I may be able to make one of the detachments just a generic Legion List, I think... maybe. Will report back haha.

Thanks for the responses folks.
