Kelborn
So when they're saying 10 days delivery time, it's meant from the 24th of February, right? Would be about the 10th of March, correct? Dosjetka
UK: 24th Feburary + up to 72 hours dispatch time + up to 5 working days delivery ~= 6th March Mainland Europe: 24th Feburary + up to 72 hours dispatch time + up to 7 working days delivery ~= 8th March International: 24th Feburary + up to 72 hours dispatch time + up to 10 working days delivery ~= 13th March Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4658726 Share on other sites

quinnwolf
Ordered mine but have to say Forgeworld postage options (and prices) are atrocious. Royal Mail economy delivery simply isn't that expensive to justify the 10% uplift. UPS are a joke, my last order took 2 weeks NOT to arrive, finally having to collect it from a centre 40 minutes from me (Nottingham only being an hour away in the first place). In the meantime I was left 2 blank delivery cards and the online tracker stated they attempted 4 deliveries, including days I was at home. Why they don't offer different Royal Mail services I do not understand. Wish I'd ticked the option to collect from forgeworld now! Foolish. Anyway, very excited to receive it. Dosjetka
quinn: You're better off letting FW know directly that their shipping options are :cuss than posting about them here. Chuck 'em an e-mail and see what they have to say. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4659049 Share on other sites
ronin_cse
From my experience ordering books from FW here in the US they tend to get to me faster than other items. For some reason they seem to ship books via UPS which cuts the delivery time by like a week. Yeah it's crazy the 10%. And you should drop them an email asking if you can change to collection, failing that cancel the order and reorder. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4659137 Share on other sites
KBA
Would have been a day 1 purchase for me if I was a Thousand Sons, Custodes, or Wolves die hard, but other things were sharking my wallet Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4659243 Share on other sites
ronin_cse
Ugh...was just going on to FW to order a Dreadclaw for my Word Bearers but having issues making it past the Inferno pre-order Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4659564 Share on other sites
Olis
It was always going to be an almost immediate pre-order from me, but the Thousand Sons pre-primarch colour scheme and variant Crusade armour has made this one something to certainly look forward to. I'm intrigued. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4659660 Share on other sites

Royal Mail economy delivery simply isn't that expensive to justify the 10% uplift. I think they make money off the postage as well, it is really quite steep. Which is in line with GW in general I suppose, but you don't really want to overpay for transport. Hfran Morkai
Aye, all my future orders will be over the free shipping threshold, especially as I now have an idea of what to buy. Baluc
I'll be trying my best to buy it in person, so I can express my opinon about the quality of said product. Pre-ordering a substandard product runs contrary to few powers you have as a consumer, and video game culture has been eroding it for sometime. Nova_chron
I ordered my copy to the states and I'll admit the postage hurt but I'd be lying if I said I'm not super thrilled to have it coming in a few weeks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331081-inferno-pre-order-up-ships-24th-feb/#findComment-4661093 Share on other sites
