I'm new to 30k so I may have misunderstood, but I swear I read that somewhere The 25% rule applies to LoW choices individually, not as a whole. So @3000 points using the Onslaught Detachment you could bring two typhons (because neither of them cost more than 750 points), but not a typhon and a reaver as the reaver exceeds the 750 point maximum that you can spend on a single LoW choice.
