Heya guys, pootling about with lists for a campaign weekend coming up and considering blooding some of my mechanicum instead of Blood Angels. My main worry with this list is, uh is it "Too much"? Last thing i want to do is be the unfun game of the weekend http://heresy30k.invisionzone.com/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.png Im aiming for much smaller than my usual infantry waves to change things up and lots of guns (They never tire i hear).

So Basic plan is that the Troops choices shield the big guns who blast the enemy into itty bitty bits. The Dreadnoughts are a counterpunch alongside the Lords if needed.

Considering whether to Use Matrix of Ruin or Not, i think its all benefits really?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Matrix of Ruin is definitely worth it. But it has no Allied Detachment available, so you'd have to lose the Iron Warriors.

 

I'd add carapace armour to the Tech-Thralls for sure.

 

I also reckon you could drop the Magos Dominus and give a Cortex Controller to the Reductor or Tech-Priest Auxilia. That'll give you some points to reinvest. Maybe make your Magos an Archmagos?
