Tallarn Commander
As usual, your work is excellent, especially your the subtle, rich tones you achieve with your washes. Great job! Reviler
Thanks to the compliments, it helps to keep the flow going. In case people miss them in the trooping the colour thread, here is the latest completed squad, a mortar squad. These form, a very cheap, part of my brigade formation. Only 33pts! Going to do a medic upgrade for a command squad and a primaris psyker next. The Mad Hermit
Everything looks so good. I'm jealous. And as much as I like my mortars... the ones you're using (Anvil? Looks like Anvil to me) look super fun. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331294-astolat-352nd-armoured/page/2/#findComment-4985186 Share on other sites
Reyner
Those Anvil mortars looks great, I was looking at them last night - very tempted to get some for my Praetorian force :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331294-astolat-352nd-armoured/page/2/#findComment-4985318 Share on other sites
Reviler
I think that tractor unit might not work for paetorians. I'd go for the simple one. Other than that the Anvil stuff is amazing. It leaves GW in the dust. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331294-astolat-352nd-armoured/page/2/#findComment-4985425 Share on other sites
Reyner
Yeah I meant the mortar itself not the tractor mount sorry my Pith helmets turned up today so I'll have a go with them tonight! Did you wash the Anvil stuff before building it? Did you wash the Anvil stuff before building it? Yes, in soapy water. Here is another little up date. My primaris psyker and a medic for a command squad. Reviler
Of the medic or psyker? I can get my light box out and take some better pics. Will try tomorrow. I’ll also take some pics of all the other units you’ve not seen. Reviler
Wow, didn't realise its nearly been two weeks since i updated. I'm please to present infantry squad two. number 2 of 6 for the brigade. Armed with a plasma pistol and plasma gun and part of my Tallarn doctrine force to move and fire.Love the Anvil industries models, so quick and easy to paint. Just the right amount of details. Should be the lord Commissar next, he's about half done now. Major_Gilbear
Lovely work - I like the dark and brooding scheme, and the red/orange accents make them look really menacing. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331294-astolat-352nd-armoured/page/2/#findComment-5000564 Share on other sites

Inso
I am really enjoying this little blog :) . It is great to see the Anvil troops being used on a grand scale and you have chosen a great look for your army (I use a few Anvil bits and bobs in my army; particularly the weapon platforms). I look forward to seeing your Commissar and more troops :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331294-astolat-352nd-armoured/page/2/#findComment-5000617 Share on other sites
