Chapter Master Valrak
Wanting to make weapon swaps on my Grey Knight terminators, what size should I be looking for? Also does anyone have a good site to buy Magnets from? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331334-magnet-size/ Share on other sites
Winds Of Fury
On my regular Terminators I used 3mm and magnatized the whole arm. That do require to buy extra shoulder pads and in GK case maybe som extra arms. (12 Shoulder Pads is around £3 on eBay). Byt otherwise 2mm if you go for the whist. Grotsmasha
Depth gives strength, so youre better off going with 1mm round x 2mm depth :tu: Cheers, Jono Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331334-magnet-size/#findComment-4666211 Share on other sites
Venerable Jazzman
I use 2mm round x 1mm deep for most Marine stuff, and 3mm x 1mm for Dreads & stuff. If you're in the UK I'd recommend these guys - http://e-magnetsuk.com/neodymium_magnets/products/circular_disc_magnets.aspx Been using them for years, no problems, delivery in 1-2 days normally Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331334-magnet-size/#findComment-4670708 Share on other sites
