World Eaters - 2500

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening,

My World Eaters are all officially assembled and at the commission painters, I am now playing around with lists and would like some feedback on this list. I have other models I can sub in and out which I will list below. The general idea with this list is to be a bit fluffy yet fun. It relies on "tableing" the opponent to win, which just seems awesome to me.

Full list of World Eaters I own.

Angron, Khârn, Surlak (custom made), Apothecary, 30 marines (20 with Bolt Pistols/Axes, 7 Power Axe, 3 Power Sword) Leviathan, Deredeo, Xiphon, Spartan, Whirlwind, Sicaran Battle, Land Raider Proteus, 2 x Quad Mortar, Red Butchers, 2 x Anvillus, Dread drop pod.

If you look at the Heresy 30k facebook, Leigh Steiger of DA Studios has photos of most the army. (https://scontent-sea1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/16830990_10212231748538218_316007778003753964_n.jpg?oh=47247db8169ae13e8fde095698275703&oe=59402913)

I have 3 Javelins but don't like the load out and did not magnetize it but I may freeze them to make the super glue brittle, they are currently lascannon but I am thinking missle launchers need to be on them, magnetize I think.

It's a decent list and I applaud your desire to table opponents - winning any other way isn't really winning.

That said, at the points level you are looking at, I'd drop the Xiphon. If you are trying to table opponents, you can't count on something that could come late like that - especially as you have no reserve manipulation. You need to hit hard and those points could be better used for something that will be fighting from turn 1.

Melta bombs on an inductii sergeant are also kind of a waste - he has multiple S10 attacks.

If the leviathan is for tank hunting why not give him the drill instead of the claw? Just in case of you running into a knight or similar.

It was supposed to be the drill, must of misclicked in battlescribe.

@Marbrand, Agreed with the unpredictability of the reserve and the xiphon, when they hit the table they can get serious work done, and rule of cool however,  I suppose a Deredeo would slot in nicely in its spot and do similar work. The melta bombs on the inductii Sgt, were just added to eat up points to be honest.
