My opponent is bringing mortarion and im sure an assortment of jacked up terminators with man reapers. Should be fun. I not bringing perturabo. Let me know what you think of the list. Siegebreaker 125 pt (with tyrants, confer tank hunter) Artificer, refractor field, pfist Elites: Quad mortar 140 pts 2 x mortar w/ shatter shell (no phos bec death guard get fnp from poison) Quad mortar 140 pts 2 x mortar w/ shatter shells Troop: Tactical squad 220 pts 9 x marines 1 x sgt Bolters nuncio Sgt w/ artificer and pfist Rhino with dozer and multimelta Tactical squad 220 pts 9 x marines 1 x sgt Bolters nuncio Sgt w/ artificer and pfist Rhino with dozer and multimelta Tactical support squad 334 pts 6 x marines 1 x sgt Plasma guns extra ccw Sgt w/ artificer and pfist Rhino with dozer and multimelta Fast attack: Lightning strike fighter 230 pts Battle servitor control, ground tracking auguries. 2 x kraken missiles Heavy support: Artillery squadron 310 pts 2 x medusas Vindicator squadron 300 pts 2 x lazer vindicatorz Armored ceramite Tyrant siege termies 405 pts 6 x tyrant 1 x siege master 2 x chainfists Low: Typhon siege tank 455 pts Armored ceramite, lascannons 3004 pts total. Tactics. Use mobility and overwelming fire. Quad mortars target easy transports with shatter shells. medusas go for hard tgts. Lazer vidicators target tankz, elites and mortarion. Siege terminators go for vehicles. Typhon tgts death shroad and terminator squads. Rhinos remain flexible and use multi melta when able. Support squad ready to rapid fire terminatorz. Thanks again. As I can't get extra HS slot I have instead put those points from Sicaran into Praevian and some automatas and don't have apothecarion as well. Other than that the list is same. Korellian Posted March 1, 2017 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Hammer of Olympia requires three compulsory troops choices so your list isn't legal as tactical support squads cannot be taken as compulsory troops. However if you switch to the ironfire rite of war it will be. Then I would suggest taking the sicaran out (as you will be over on your heavy support) and replacing the sicaran venator with a whirlwind scorpius to maximise your barrages. Of course you will need to sprinkle nuncio voxes into your squads so you can hide your sources of barrages. And bring an empty cup to fill with your opponents' tears. You can nip a few points off by taking battlesmith from the praetor as it's no longer required but is fluffy. If you're dead set on hammer of olympia then you will need to trim something to find the points for another tactical squad. Also what are you planning on running the praetor and apothecary with?I assume the plasma squad to mitigate gets hot deaths? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
montambro Posted March 1, 2017 Author Share Posted March 1, 2017 I made a few adjustments. Rather tank tyrants and vindicators. The survivability of tyrants and massed str 8 tank hunter is sick.
