I can't quite put my finger on it but all the lists I've created and see just feel really skeleton even at such high points values. At 3000 points you only have 4 units starting on the board. That makes me cry when I see what Mechanicum and Solar Auxilia can bring. I've written maybe 20-30 lists at this point at that's essentially how I feel. We'll I don't really have a choice on the HQ front since I'm forced to take 3 in 3k which means if I want Russ I need to spend almost 1k on characters. That makes me cry when I see what Mechanicum and Solar Auxilia can bring. Part of it is that we are required to take an HQ for every 1k points, rounded up. So at 3k you have to have 3 Hqs, and Russ does not take up that slot. It doesn't seem like a lot, but after 2 additional HQs we could have taken an additional squad.
