SkimaskMohawk
So it seems to be missing the infamous cut out that declares it may be taken as taghmata or questoris. Deliberate or yet another Inferno failure? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331702-knight-porphyrion/ Share on other sites
Slips
Unless we get actual word from Alan Bligh himself, who even knows? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331702-knight-porphyrion/#findComment-4675494 Share on other sites
Dark Bjoern
For me it´s very clear. It is listed as a Lord of War. Only in the Tagmata list Knights are listet as LoW. And the Blessed Autosimulacra is also used only in the Taghmata list. And you can use it in a Questoris list see the Household Rank rule. Reclusiarch Darius
It's Taghmata and Questoris only. it says so in the unit entry. Same as the Atrapos, its not available to anyone else in 30k. Doesn't actually say that. It has specific wargear when selected in those armies, but not the specific restriction as seen on the Atrapos or the Porphrion experimental rules data slate. Jackalwolf
The consensus though it's 100% okay to have a knight allied detachment with a Porphyrion and another knight as troops, right? Literally the lack of that is why I made the thread. The consensus though it's 100% okay to have a knight allied detachment with a Porphyrion and another knight as troops, right? I'm pretty sure. The LoW and Household Rank interaction always trips me up though. I'm also pretty sure you can't take them as a LoW for Legions because it doesn't specifically appear in the crusade imperialis book Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/331702-knight-porphyrion/#findComment-4676354 Share on other sites
Reclusiarch Darius
Literally the lack of that is why I made the thread. Well I don't know what to tell you. In Inferno, in the Mechanicum Rules Appendix section, its listed as a Lord of War. That would seem to be pretty clear. Its unit entry further clarifies that it can be taken in Questoris lists, and can have only certain Household ranks in that context. Just Ally a Questoris detachment would be my suggestion.
