ronin_cse
Hey all! i'm thinking of starting a smallish SW force to ally with my Imperial Fists. Before I really get into it I was just wondering what plastic 40k SW kits would be acceptable in a 30k setting? Mostly I'm having issues deciding just what armor mk most of the grey hunters and bloodclaws are wearing. Thanks! Charlo
Anything really, maybe avoid the overtly MKVII helms, legs, bodies. Anything with Wolfy detail though will be absolutely fine, especially when all mixed up with the Calth and Prospero plastics. Robzilla
As a rule of thumb, I've been using a fair few space wolf plastics in my test models. I've tried to keep it either mkiv, or mkiii (using prospero and calth) but adding in elements from the 40k plastic kits. Mainly weapons and guns,(chopping off hands to fit on the heresy armour marks) but icons, pelts etc have been fine too. Some shoulder pads have fit well. As charlo says, steer clear of the mkiii stuff, and you'll be fine. I'll see if I can get a few pics to show how I've integrated them tonight.
