Evil Eye
I discovered a rather nifty website called Hero Forge, which allows you to build a miniature from a range of existing digital parts, and then have it 3D printed for you. It's rather expensive unfortunately (because 3D printing is) but for character models for INQ28 or Necromunda I think it could be very useful. Does anyone have any experience with them? IIRC they use Shapeways for their printing, who have quite a high standard of print resolution. Guiltysparc
One of my D&D group's used them for our minis right after they went live and the models were nice, but super brittle. Everyone of them broke within 6 months so. I wouldn't get them for wargaming, given how expensive they are. That was also quite a while ago, so they may be less brittle now. Casual Heresy
I painted one for my DnD GM. I can confirm Guiltysparc's assessment. They look good but are very brittle.
