Well I decided it was about time I made a WIP thread to help me stay motivated to finish. Currently working on my Word Bearers legion 30k/40k force. Just finished Lorgar today so I may as well start with him!

Overall I'm pretty happy with him, first time doing a primarch model. His eyes still bug me and I have never managed to paint eyes I am happy with. After struggling with them for quite a while I just had to settle for my best attempt here...at least you can't see them on the table top all that well!

Next up I think I'll finish my laser destroyer and then probably my Gal Vorbak, we'll just see how inspiration hits me! Thanks for looking!

Looks good. I really like your fire effect.

I've painted Lorgar myself and really struggled with the eyes too, it's just a tough one to get right.

Thanks! The flames are just a couples washes over a white base (yellow and red GW washes) with a black drybrush on the tips
