Blood Angles 30k list

So the plan for this list is to have the heavy support hang back while the assault squads deep strike in with the leviathan.

The landspeeders and veteran squad get up field as quickly as possible.

 

I was wondering if I should use outflank with any of the landspeeders and veteran squad?

 

I also have a destroyer squad, additional veteran squad, fire raptor and terminator squad I could use.

 

Other possibilities are moritat, master of signals and a jump pack/terminator command squad.

 

So lots of options, advice appreciated. I'm not sure how well theheacy support squad synergies with the rest of my fast/deepstriking army. I added the heavy support squad with the augury scanner to try and keep offensive infiltrators and deepstriles at bay.

A few things.

What Right of War are you using?

 

Inferno Pistols are usually better being a plasma pistol or volkite. Everything that you want to target with an Inferno pistol usual has Armoured Ceramite, is out of its shockingly short range, or isnt what the rest of the unit would like to target.

 

Assault squads are solid. I go for an Axe of the Sarg and 2 swords for the unit.

 

What rule do the Vets have? Marksmen? Machine killers?

 

The Culverin squad is amazing, however 5 guys wont cut it in the 30K world. Take em to 10 or ditch them.

 

Take the Javelins as 3 Individual units. So much more of a pain that way,

 

Any sponsons on the Sicaran?

 

The Levi is amazing but double check its points. Ive never had one with a Dred pod come below 400 points.

Thanks Soul. Yes if I took a naked Levi it would only be 370. I thought if I'm investing so many points I may as well make it as Killy as possible. I was considering dropping (pun not inteneded) the drop pod and footslogging the Levi.

 

Ah ok, I will take the culverin advice onboard. Maybe I should take a master of signals to provide a deep strike free bubbl efor my sicarian?

If I had points free I would take lascannon sponsors for the sicarian.

I was considering a power fist on the sarge of my assault squads, to help out with 2W and ap2.

I also edited my post and added the Day of revelations and marksman.

 

I thought the blood angel advice here may be more specific. Doesn't seem to be many BA players in AoD yet! :)
