Vel'Cona
Your first time using resin? If so, soap and water wash for the resin parts is a must. Be cautious when assembling as plastic and resin tend to cooperate well though cutting/sanding each is very different. As for actual assembly of the new models, I haven't had the pleasure of doing so yet but I'm sure another helpful Frater can chime in. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/332859-building-hopilites-and-peltasts-anything-i-should-know/#findComment-4708569 Share on other sites

Not much to say, not a problem. The arm pairs have letters on the surface that is glued to the torso, makes pairing them easy. This, and I would add that if you do intend to file or sand them you should grab some disposable masks rated FFP3(you could get away with FFP2, but they're only pennies cheaper so I don't see the point in getting the inferior ones). You're not going to keel over and die if it touches you or anything, but inhaling particulates of any kind over extended periods of time probably isn't good for you. The kit itself is pretty simple stuff - once you've cleaned up the parts it works pretty much like the plastics except you use superglue. Tomadai
If you know how to deal with finecast, then you can deal with this. Just remember that resin is also softer than plastic so take care when cutting and trimming. Tiger9gamer
also remember that for some forsaken reason the onmispex has to be taken by the alpha and not a random squadmate. Guess it's the build options. The pointing arm should be the sergeant, and that arm can be replaced by the omnispex arm. Every other arm pair is fixed to the weapon. Vash113
also remember that for some forsaken reason the onmispex has to be taken by the alpha and not a random squadmate. I thought that got fixed in a FAQ? Even if not I wouldn't expect it to stay that way for long.
