Shadow War: Terrain options

I made my board with a sheet of celotex insulation glued to plyboard. Cut out corridors for basement level. Use plaster board bonding tape as mesh walkways - it is very cheap about six pounds for a long roll. Window packers from screwfix make great bulkheads and you get about a hundred for twelve pounds. Bits of waste pipe left over from installing my sink, off cuts of copper.pipe, drinking straws - big board on two levels for about fifty pounds all told. You can also use copper pipe off cuts as barrels just make a.plasticard lid.

while it's not bog rolls, styrofoam and pvc tubing 3d printers are relatively cheap now days.

probably not covered by a 20 buck ante but might be worth considering the investment if you have a stable gaming group.

2 cents deposited.

I was reminded of these articles earlier, so I thought I'd share them here. While they are technically for infinity, the concepts and terrain work just as well for SW:A or even Necromunda.

The guide really makes scratchbuilding terrain seem accessible to people with little to no previous scratchbuild experience. It's something I'm definitely planning on giving a go, once I have a flat with enough room for a gaming table.

Hope this is useful.
