Ep 191 - TANKS! w/Guy Haley & 40K Narrative w/Paul Murphy

We talk news, hobby, some AoS games played and then what a 40K-packed episode! First, Guy Haley returns to chat about his tank books (Baneblade, Shadowsword, and e-books) then Paul Murphy from Forge the Narrative joins us for a chat on the evolving 40K narrative and where we are now, and where we think/hope they might be going.

Enjoy!

Love your podcast, you must put a mighty amount of work into it, really is superb. Guy Haleys books have been a refreshing throwback to a period when BL stories were simpler beast. Tank warfare is hard to depict. This BBC drama http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04f8cw8 is the best on screen tank drama I've ever seen. Being locked in a metal box unable to properly see or breathe must be awful and terrifying.

If I had one it se bit se tiny little quibble.... I would love it if you put times on the sections so I could move to different sections of the program.

Indeed. That's what buggers me off a lot. I need to manually scroll the slider to get to the point I'm most interested in

And by the way veterannoob

League of Legends for which McNeil is working  is made by 'Riot'.

He made truly masterful stories for the game characters and universe, which was lacking a lot in world and character creation before him.

Laurie is working with someone else. And I do not think it would be something Warhammer related. But maybe I'm wrong. It would be good to get the answer from Laurie himself

And by the way it's would be let's say interesting - if Haley will indeed do Mortarion. Cause I was expecting his story from Wraight.

Also any news on Haley next Horus Heresy novel? Or how the devastation of Baal will progress?
