Any particular reason for the praetor with the  terranic greatsword? its AP3 so unless you are constantly facing solar auxilia or mechanicum lists its simply going to bounce off anyone he is worth putting in a challenge (aka other people with artificer armor). Plasma repeaters are extremely short range (12 inches I believe), i would rather stick with regular plasma guns take 9 instead of 10 and throw the points at a apothecary with artificer armor. Might be worth looking at putting them in a land raider proteus as well, more survivable. Maybe ditching the Basilisks for the heavy support slot.

Well I was just thinking of the High Strength it can apply and the always having Instant Death I suppose I could just use a Paragon Blade and it should suffice the same maybe equip him with a power fist to so then he would have 2 specialist weapons and gain 2 options for in combat ? Plus the +1 attack wouldn't hurt. In regards to the repeaters I understand where your point is coming from to I was just thinking of having the salvo may be a bonus but the range is rather lackluster.

If you are looking for to kill the enemy preator before he strikes a terranic greatsword is better than a paragon blade. A paragon blade has a low chance to be instant death, and a very low chance to cause 3+ wounds (especially against a 3++ or 4++ with the semi-common fnp), where as the greatsword only gives the enemy his 2+ armor save or die. Instant death on a model that will manage to wound with the majority of his attacks is rather good (3s to hit, 2s to wound).
