I've been working on rules for a [power armoured] Space Marines faction in Shadow War: Armageddon and have taken an initial stab at things. These rules include rules for the Imperial Fists.

You can see Playtest V1.0 here.

I'd appreciate any feedback that you can provide to make this a better (and balanced) product.

Here is the final version of the Imperial Fists rules in my project:

IMPERIAL FISTS

With a reputation for excelling in siegecraft, the Imperial Fists and their successors are experts with heavy weapons and bolt weaponry. No foe can stand against their firepower, nor drive them back once their feet are planted

Imperial Fists Veteran Sergeants and Gunners have access to storm bolters. Imperial Fists Veteran Sergeants and Space Marines have access to combat shields and storm shields.

Bolter Drill: When two or more Imperial Fists fighters are within 2” of each other and all are firing bolter weapons (boltgun, combi-weapons, bolt pistol, storm bolter, heavy bolter), they may re-roll one failed To Hit roll for each of the fighters.

Duelists: The Imperial Fists preserve the ancient tradition of honour duels and each battle-brother is an accomplished swordsman. Imperial Fists fighters that are armed with swords may parry if their opponent’s highest scoring Attack dice is equal to their own highest scoring Attack dice.

Imperial Fists troopers may take Ferocity, Muscle, and Shooting skills.

Imperial Fists Specialists may take Ferocity, Muscle, Shooting, and Stealth skills.

Imperial Fists Leaders may take Combat, Ferocity, Guerilla, Muscle, Shooting, and Stealth skills.

There are also some larger changes, though these affect all Chapters. These include some additional weapons and wargear (power mauls, power axes, power fists, grav weapons).

With the imminent release of Necromunda I'm not sure how popular an attempt to play SWA will be in my local group but I'll see what I can do. In any case, I'll do my best to playtest the rules you've come up with and provide feedback.

With the main Space Marine Kill Teams rules nearly finished (just getting some pictures in so that I can make them available for download), I've moved forward with the Chapters that participated in the Badab War.

For fans of the Imperial Fists and their successors, the Executioners played an interesting part in the Badab War, first joining the Secessionists in as a matter of honour to the Astral Claws, and later turning on the Astral Claws when the latter acted dishonorably.

You can see my initial stab at rules for the Executioners here.
