yeah i thought that, it was either rice or tea ,Although their major export is tea...and all these bags are stocked around the tea plantation in the game,so i kinda assumed it was tea

or opium...

I painted the bags Last night but forgot the pic today will just post one when the guys are on the base,...

its some troops next ! Gotta make the platoon what a lot of guys to paint...

Nearly done...just washing and drybrushing on the base and re painting the barbed wire and the base rim.

I know I've spent too long on something when i think... "now i'm actually looking forwards to putting some troops together,just to be doing something different "

Looking good.  Your "sand" bags look 100% better than your last photo, so I have to say the extra work was worth it.

update, finished Hvy Wpn team-1 , next up is a squad of grunts....

will have to decal them when iv'e done the troops,i'd rather do them all at the same time

now in saying that, onto the troops ...

Very nice.  Are you going to keep the sides of the base black?  On your test models for your grunts, the base sides were brown, which I think would look nicer.

Undecided... i usually do Black but since these bases are tending towards very dark with blacks and browns, perhaps a brown may work this time instead..?

I only just matched my base edges grey to go with my astrogranite top on my RG recently.

It made it look so much better! I think it would work well in this instance too. If it looks too solid you could try washing it
