hermanista
So in preperation for 8th, I started to put some bits together ready, hoping to catch the wave of keen that is coming and get a playable force fully painted. Of course then I got distracted and finished final positioning and basing of this chap. Next up, undercoating and deciding on a colour scheme, but for now and for your enjoyment, one rare Knight Atrapos. Whatcha think? http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170517_210947.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170517_211003.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170517_211017.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170517_211026.jpg Ave Imperator! Olis
The pose works for me. It looks like he's turning or rounding the corner of a building. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/333723-the-indomitus-crusade-knight-titan-atrapos/#findComment-4745463 Share on other sites
VulkansDynasty
I like it, the only complaint I have is that the head's angle looks a little off to me. Could be the camera work. Looking forward to seeing it painted. hermanista
Cheers folks Regarding the head, he was posed slightly differently when the neck piece was glued in place so he is tilting his head somewhat now that he's in his final pose. The head isn't yet attached to the neck for painting purposes so that position isn't final just yet. Plus I will be visiting warhammer world next week, so may even change his head for one of the others... not sure just yet. Definitely struggling on the colour scheme for him though unfortunately. hermanista
So a further update after some time away.I managed to get some paint onto models, which is always a bonus. So near completion of a unit of combat scouts, as well as some undercoat colours for the knight - which has also had an upgrade. So instead of a simple Atrapos, it has become a 'Psi-knight' by a head change and with the cables to mark it out as something slightly different. Proof is in the pudding though as they say. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170603_205411.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170603_205358.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170603_205411.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170606_143821.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170606_143811.jpg Chris Shrieker and Olis 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/333723-the-indomitus-crusade-knight-titan-atrapos/#findComment-4777450 Share on other sites
hermanista
Evening brothers and sisters. So progress has been happening, reinforcements have arrived and post fix due to damage in transit and ready to receive a coat of paint from Servitor-17. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170622_142829.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170620_104211.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170620_104206.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/Hermanesq/20170622_142848.jpg Work to do to match them all up into a coherent force but whatcha think? Olis
Nice, solid scheme so far, fairly well done. Good placement of the decals, and they're on straight, so that's nice too. I also like the use of the whole of the base for the more dynamic poses. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/333723-the-indomitus-crusade-knight-titan-atrapos/#findComment-4793432 Share on other sites
hermanista
Cheers, I do have to state I didn't paint the two mechanicum knights, they were bought as are. Need a bit of weathering to bring them more towards the battle damage look of the crusader in the middle. And ai need to finish the big boys at the back.
