Rampant Speculation/SIFOOH Sub Forum

So once again a thread in news and rumours has spiralled out of control based on what appears to be little more than speculation in some out of context quotes.  Can we have a new sub forum dedicated to Rampant Speculation and SIFOOH (Sky is falling on our heads) for this stuff it seems to be very popular with the frater and it would leave the news and rumours threads for actual news and rumours and save us all having to wade through pages of rage quitting, you can't do this, your primarch smells, my primarch is bigger than your primarch, Bols is bad, hastings is good, post deleted etc. to find out what is happening (usually nothing)

New sub-forums can't be created for everything - there's a special one for 8th discussion and that will have to suffice. Unfortunately extreme changes to the game as we know it is likely to create extreme reactions, especially on the Internet. Due to the nature of the releases there's arguably little new further than the first page as the main content is covered by the GW article itself, so I would recommend not reading beyond there if you wish to avoid some of the hysterics

If you want to discuss particulars with regards to a certain B&C army this can also take place in the appropriate section (e.g. this Guard topic), where it is more focused and subjected to less hyperbole.

I mean, I find a lot of that stuff uninteresting too. So I just don't read the thread. If people want to speculate specifically about 40K, well, the B&C is kinda the place for that I'd think. I'm certainly not a mod, I just wanted to say I appreciate that this site provides a place for people to talk about the hobby how that want, and that no one is forced to read a conversation they have no interest in. I'm not sure why such speculation is harmful to the B&C, when it occurs in the proper threads.
