bluntblade
I didn't really think about this before, but in the prologue to The Crimson Fist, los Hermanos Pollux are nowhere near the end of their trial. They're just somewhere in the middle of it. So after the beast attack, Alexis makes his way over who knows what distance, hypothermic, grief-stricken, exhausted, only not bleeding out because his wounds (widened, lest we forget, in his efforts to save Helias) have frozen... and he's not broken at the end. Cripes. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/333842-an-observation-on-the-crimson-fist/ Share on other sites
