Detachments and Mixed Units

I intend on picking up some Primaris Space Marines as well as the new toys in the future to see how they would mix well with my Deathwatch. From the wording "must come from the same faction", that implies that it is okay to field both Primaris Space Marines and Deathwatch Kill Teams in a single detachment with the natural weakness of the Primaris not getting anything new beyond what they already have, correct?

Yeah, you can just take an Imperium or Adeptus Astartes detachment and include both Deathwatch units and Primaris marines from some other, non DW chaper, in it.

But what about consolidating troops in a single detachment rather than two?
