Mixing Veterans with Primaris would be weird since there is literally no transport that can take both, and I doubt they'd give us special treatment on that. The only special exception I can see them giving us is that DPs can take Terms/VV (but that's probably even pushing it).

 

Primaris KTs feel like they'd be too much. Intercessors + Hellblasters + Aggressor in a Repulsor seems way too powerful. If we do get it, I feel like regular DW marines will then take the back burner and essentially be used only as a Devastator team. Bikers would probably still have a place, but Terms/VVs would be pretty terrible options in their current state.

 

I think terminators and most deathwatch will be getting a reasonable points cut going forward.  Even if its just in the cost of the power fist so I am holding out hope.

 

Hell if they fix the storm shields that will make our terminators drop like 8-10 points each

I already play with the Power Fist at 12 instead of 20; the DW section specifically defers to the Space Marine section of the Appendix and titled as such for Space Marines Wargear as titled on page 206.

 

I mostly want an adjustment to SIA where it doesn't act as a tax on all Veterans.

That would be fine. Because in index his equippment is very limited - only Guardian spear.

short feedback on WL trait and stratagems:

WL Trait : ok, but feels more like something that he could have a standard profile trait. Not special/limited effectiveness within shooting phase

 

Stratagem:. Clavis - meh, last 3 games useless as no vehicle close enough or important enough.

 

death to the alien: when it goes off it goes off and does so very well ( had a 6 man KT do alot of damage by rolling good with Chainswords and loads of attacks)

 

Relic: great tool but list has to be built with it in mind ( feature one big unit of hellblasters, or Termies or big KT) and has to be put on the right character -- so you either relocate your focus area or reinforce it.

 

other than that - stormshields are great at 5 points. corvus does suck up more points.
