Knight Master Eladric
Now that vehicles aren't slowed/immobilized by terrain and firing arcs are a thing of the past, a few thoughts had crossed my mind. I'm now imagining land raiders almost never "driving forward" but instead being placed sideways toward the enemy and just drifting forward. A pair (or more) could create a huge wall to cover assault units' advances or keep a buffing character (Azrael) out of LOS. What do you guys think? RayJ
Huge size, decent speed, split fire, easier line of sight, and near invulnerability make Land Raiders of all kinds just plain great in this edition. It will be interesting to see what kind of angling/movement peculiarities pop up with the change to how models shoot and move. Protecting foot sloggers has probably never been easier. Crazy Jay
I definitely plan to field my Landraider more now, but even though the game doesn't require things like firing arcs and driving forward, I'll still adhere to them.
